In fact, fans still love watching all the repeat episodes of the show. It will soon complete 12 years, but the show has maintained its charm all this while and remains the favourite of many. It's no wonder that it is the longest-running show on television. The show has always done good on the TRP charts and has received copious love from the audience. We, too, have been a fan of each and every character on the show. Whether it is Nattu Kaka or Daya ben, they have all become a part of our lives.
Now, the fresh episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently began, but, for the very first time the show has received negative comments from the audience. The new episodes have flat out failed to entertain viewers. Netizens have called it a 'boring episode', and were utterly disappointed by the show.
The comedy element was lost as it was just about COVID-19 in the first episode post lockdown. Fans said that they wanted the old episodes back as the new one has 'zero comedy'. The audience had expected the makers to have planned a grand re-opening of the show. Many also said that they needed Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben back on the show. The actress has been on a maternity break since two years, and has not returned to the show. Fans have been missing her and want her to be back soon. She was seen in one of the recent episodes prior to the lockdown-induced break, but only through a video call. With the show getting such negative remarks, we thought of asking y'all, the fans, whether Disha Vakani's return in the new episodes would have made them better?
