If Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the longest-running TV show, its cast is no less. Many actors such as Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta have been a part since the start. Similar was the case with Neha Mehta who portrayed Anjali for 12 years. Unfortunately, she quit along with Gurucharan Singh (Mr Sodhi). As expected, the cast members are upset and Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal is no different.
While the exact reasons were not revealed, rumours had it that Neha had issues with the makers. Back in February, she had shared some concerns with producer Asit Kumarr Modi too. But owing to no solution, she finally decided to hold her integrity and make an exit. However, Asit in an interview later clarified that the decision was mutual.
Albeit, Jennifer Mistry aka Roshan has now taken to Instagram and shared an emotional note. She mentioned how she’s been flooded with DMs about Neha Mehta and Gurucharan Singh’s exit. However, Jennifer feels that the decision has been made and we should respect it.

Whether change is pleasant or not, we have to accept it… Lots of fans continuously messaging me about Gurucharan Singh(Sodhi) and Neha Mehta(Anjali)… After seeing today ‘s episode most of you must be aware that they are not working in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah anymore… Whatever be the reason, let us respect their decisions… They will stay in everyone’s hearts till eternity… My good wishes with both of them…”
That’s not it. The actress also took the platform to welcome Sunayana Fozdar (new Anjali) and Balvinder Singh Suri (new Mr. Sodhi) to the Taarak Mehta family.
“Now, can we welcome the new additions in Tmkoc family @Ballusuri (Balvinder Singh Suri-Sodhi) and @Sunayanaf (Sunaina Fozdar-Anjali) with open hearts and without any judgments…
Welcome Ballu ji and Sunayana,” she added.
