A tragic incident has happened with Suresh Raina. On August 19, the Indian cricketer’s close relatives were brutally attacked. His uncle was slaughtered to death, and later his cousin succumbed to injuries too. Amongst others, Kapil Sharma has now come forward to pay his condolences. The comedian has also asked for justice for the family.
The incident took place in Thariyal village near Madhopur in Pathankot district, Punjab. As per reports, the robbers were armed with lethal weapons. Suresh himself took to Twitter to make the unfortunate announcement. He wrote, “What happened to my family in Punjab was beyond horrible. My uncle was slaughtered to death, my bua & both my cousins had sever injuries. Unfortunately my cousin also passed away last night after battling for life for days. My bua is still very very critical & is on life support.”
Suresh Raina furthermore tagged Punjab Police and asked them to look into the matter. The cricketer has mentioned that they till date don’t know what exactly happened that night. “Till date we don’t know what exactly had happened that night & who did this. I request @PunjabPoliceInd to look into this matter. We at least deserve to know who did this heinous act to them. Those criminals should not be spared to commit more crimes. @capt_amarinder @CMOP,” read another thread.

Now, Kapil Sharma has come forward and paid his condolences. The comedian also asked the police officials to investigate the matter and bring justice to Suresh Raina’s family.
“It’s very sad to hear about the tragedy paji .. my condolences to the family. dear sir @DGPPunjabPolice pls look into it n punish the culprits,” wrote Kapil.
