The highly-awaited and second-largest event after WWE Wrestlemania finally took place. Yes, we are talking about SummerSlam 2020. The pay-per-view had some terrific matches, thus living up to the expectations of fans. Unarguably, the contest between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton was the best of the night but it is Roman Reigns’ return, which has left fans shocked.
First, let’s talk about the main attractions of the event. The feud between WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton had a perfect ending with an adrenaline-pumping match. A foul play, powerbombs, figure four and much more- the match had everything for fans. It was McIntyre who score the victory and retained the title.
Another big treat was a contest between ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman. Here, the Universal Champ tried to finish it off early but the alter ego of Wyatt stretched it for ‘The Monster among men’. It took some blood, two sister Abigails on the exposed wood for Wyatt to end up being a new Champ. The post-match events were more exciting for fans as Roman Reigns made a surprise return and exploded on The Fiend with a spear. With a title in a hand, ‘The big dog’ send a loud and clear message across the arena.
